My favourite facemasks at the moment!

And one hair mask!

Facemasking and skincare is one of my favourite forms of self care – to read more about different forms of self care read this post!

1. The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

Surprise, surprise, the first one is by The Body Shop, I know you’re shocked. If you didn’t gather from my skincare favourites post (if you’ve not read it, go check it out!!) I think that The Body Shop’s products are amazing and this is one of my favourite masks I’ve ever used (I’ve got maybe four or five of their masks). It’s amazing for drawing out impurities, smells lovely and is 100% vegan! It’s £18 for a 75ml tub or £6 for a 15ml tub so it is the most expensive on this list but well worth the money.

2. Sanctuary Spa 1 Minute Daily Glow Mask

I use this mask before I jump in the shower in the morning, and I love it because it’s so quick, literally one minute!! You put it on dry skin whilst its a bit grainy, then add a little water and it goes completely smooth. I leave it whilst I get in the shower, and after a minute, I rinse it off. This mask smells AMAZING and gives me a lovely subtle glow. It’s £14 for 75ml available from a range of beauty shops.

3. Boots Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask

This mask is great for dry skin! I put it on clean skin at night, let it soak in completely and then just wash my face as normal in the morning, so easy!! My skin absorbs it sooo fast (my skin is so thirsty..) and it feels super soft in the morning. I usually use this on the same night as I use a hair mask (see below) and just sleep with a clean towel on my pillows so any residue doesn’t ruin my pillow cases. It’s a steal for just £4 for 50ml.

4. L’Oréal Paris Pure Clay Blue Algae Blemish Rescue Face Mask

Another good one for when you’re breaking out, this mask is so lovely to put on. The clay has an almost creamy consistency, making it go on really smoothly, and it’s such a lovely shade of blue, you’ll feel like a beautiful Smurf/Avatar. It takes around 10 minutes to dry and then I just remove it with a warm cloth. It’s £7.99 for 50ml but sometimes it’s on offer so shop around!

5. Garnier Macadamia & Coconut Milk Hair Mask for Dry Hair

I’ve only recently started using this mask, even though I bought it ages ago. It’s been sitting on my shelf and I finally got round to using it and now I’m kicking myself that I didn’t start using it earlier! It’s actually three masks in one, and can be used on wet or dry hair. Its formula is vegan and its tub is 100% recyclable. Its available in a range of beauty stores for around £4.99 for 300ml, WELL WORTH IT.

I hope you have found some new face (and hair) masks in this post to try. Let me know your favourite face masks!!
